Players can find a lot of cool, unique armor in the Outer Worlds, but these are the best — and where to find them.
In The Outer Worlds, you can find a variety of unique pieces of Armor. With the right Helmet Armor and Body Armor, a character’s chances of survival, skills, and powers can be greatly improved.
The right armor for a player relies on how they play and how their character is built. But these one-of-a-kind pieces give the character some of the best chances to stay alive in any situation, and many of them increase the damage done to enemies.
Wilderness Ops Helmet
The Wilderness Ops Helmet is a good choice for people who like to stay out of sight. This is because it gives all Stealth Skills a +5 boost. This means that Sneak, Hack, and Lockpick are all boosted by +5. This is a big boost for lower-level heroes.
In addition to making Stealth Skills better, the hat also makes all types of damage 84 times harder to do. That’s very important if the player ever gets caught in a battle and can’t be quiet. This makes it strange that the piece is on a box in the Trash Dump near Gorgon Canyon.
Cat’s Eye Pressure Helm
The Cat’s Eye Pressure Helm is probably the best Helmet for sneaking around and being violent. This is because Sneak Attack Damage got a huge 25% boost. With the right build, this can often kill someone from the shadows in just one hit. You can buy it from Lex at the Sprat Shack’s main bar.
The Helmet also comes with a +5 to Hack, which can be very useful. The 22 resistance to all kinds of damage is also a nice perk, but when the enemy dies before it even knows the player is there, it doesn’t mean much.
SugarOps Helmet
The SugarOps Helmet looks like the kind of armor that a company that makes sugary drinks would give to its guards. The player shouldn’t be fooled by how it looks, though, because it’s one of the best Helmets in the game. This is because it increases N-Ray damage by 10% and Plasma damage by 5%.
Even though these are specialised weapons, some of them, especially in the Heavy Weapons group, can do a lot of damage even without the bonuses. It can be found in the Cascadia Bottling Plant and has a 36 protection to all kinds of damage. Not bad for the company Purpleberry.
Iconoclast Apostle Helmet
During the Commuter quest, rebel Iconoclasts who side with boss Zora have one of the best helmets in the game. The Iconoclast Apostle Helmet is the only Helmet in the game that increases physical damage by 5%.
It also has 29 resistance to all kinds of damage, which is useful for attack builds. Simply put, the player should wear this Helmet if they are using a fighting build that doesn’t use stealth.
MSI Elite Helmet
When you finish the BOLT-52 quest that Sanjar gives you, you get the MSI Elite Helmet as a prize. It gives you 29 resistance to all kinds of damage, which isn’t a huge deal, but the bonus to your skill is interesting.
It makes distant weapons spread less by 10%. This means that the shots from guns with a wide spread will be more focused. This might not seem like much, but if you can focus the fire of a Shotgun or Heavy Machine Gun, more shots will hit the target, doing more damage. So it’s strange that it’s in a pile of trash in the open world.
Ranger Mascot’s Noggin’
The Ranger Mascot’s Noggin’ may be the way to go for players who want to look a little bit different. The character’s whole face is hidden by this huge helmet, which looks like a round head with a moustache and a small hat on top. It can be found when the player goes to the Phaeton Pilothouse during the main quest of the Murder on Eridanos.
It gives the Stranger +10 Block and +10 Inspiration, which are not silly benefits. This makes it a great piece of armour for Companion builds because it makes them better in battle and protects the player. If the player uses it with a weapon like Tanaka’s Peacemaker, their allies can do all the work for them, making them a living tank.
Spatial Acuity Sensor Apparatus
This piece of head armour gives a solid 30 boost to all of the player’s defensive stats, as well as a number of other benefits. It gives the player a huge 110% speed boost while using Tactical Time Dilation and makes it take 20% longer to use again. When perks like “Speed Demon” are added, the player can almost be unstoppable as they fly past enemies at high speeds.
Since it is a porter cap, the hat can only be found in the Grand Colonial Hotel on Eridanos. Inside, players will need to go to the basement and loot the body in room A3. It’s up to the player to decide if the bonuses are worth the huge cost of fashion.
Chimera
At first glance, this piece of light armour might not seem like much, since it gives +10 to Dialogue Skills. This is good for builds that want to trick, scare, or charm their way through the space, but it might not be as useful for other builds. But players may also notice that this piece of armour has ridiculously high defensive numbers, giving 53 resistance to all types of damage.
This makes it as durable as heavy armour but gives it all the advantages of light armour. This makes it useful for many different builds. It is given to the player when they finish the ‘Makes Space Suits, Won’t Travel’ Quest.
Rizzo’s Rangers Hacker Uniform
The Rizzo’s Rangers Hacker Uniform is a great choice for players who want to get close to each other. This piece of medium armour gives good resistances of 75–78, and it also makes the player’s melee damage 10% stronger.
The lower deck of the Pilothouse is where players can get it. When used with the Iconoclast Apostle Helmet and a high-damage striking weapon, the player can quickly defeat even the toughest enemies.
SugarOps Body Armor
Since Rizzo is the leader in sugary foods and drinks, it makes sense that their armour would look completely ridiculous. That being said, their SugarOps Body Armor is a great way to stay alive, as it has a resistance of 41 to all types of damage and a +5 to Defence to keep you from getting hurt in the first place.
It can be found on Herbert in the Cascadia Bridge Safehouse. Mods can be added to make it better at using long-range weapons and make it immune to damage. The player will look silly when they wear this, but it will make fights much easier to win.
Wilderness Ops Armor
Wilderness Ops Armor is a good option for sneaky people who want to be able to stay alive when things go wrong. It’s a reward from the side quest “The Electric Fling,” and it gives 84 protection to all kinds of damage. It also has a +5 to Block, which boosts your Armour Rating while using a physical weapon.
It can be changed to lower the volume of footsteps and the area in which they can be heard. For pure defence, it’s a good choice for anyone, and it’s one of the best for stealthy melee players.
Nightfall Squad Armor
The Nightfall Squad Armor might be the best Body Armour for sneaky runs. When you have 100% reputation with The Board, you can get it. It has a lot of perks. The +5 to Stealth Skills gives a boost to Sneak, Hack, and Lockpick.
The armour also cuts the time it takes to equip a weapon by 50%, so players can switch guns more quickly than usual. When Funny Shooter 2 player is found sneaking around and needs a stronger weapon, this is a great thing to have. The armour is also resistant to all kinds of attack to the tune of 54.
Iconoclast Apostle Armor
The Iconoclast Apostle Armor goes very well with the hat. As a prize for finishing Pay For The Printer, this item gives you a +5 bonus to Melee. This means that if a player swings a weapon quietly or in broad daylight, they will do more damage.
The armour can also be changed to protect against shock damage, make Defence better, increase the chance of a critical hit with melee weapons, and make it possible to take 20 kg more. This is by far the best Body Armour for melee characters. And it protects against all types of damage with a nice 34 protection.
MSI Elite Armor
The MSI Elite Armor might be the best unique piece of armor in this action RPG. You can find it out in the world or get it as a prize for finishing Errors Unseen. This armor is very powerful because it gives +5 to Ranged Weapon Skills. This means that Weapon Sway will go down, the chance of a critical hit with ranged weapons will go up, and Handguns, Long Guns, and Heavy Weapons will get boosts.
In addition to this amazing boost, it also has a good 34 resistance to all types of harm. The physical armour grade can be changed to 39. The range of interactable highlights can be extended by five metres, and the character can move faster while TTD is on. It’s a well-balanced piece of armor that boosts DPS and durability and has uses outside of battle.
