A Prayer to Find Ease and comfort in God’s Protective Gaze – Your Each day Prayer

A Prayer of Safety

“The LORD is my energy and my defend in him my heart trusts, and I am helped my heart exults, and with my song I give many thanks to him.” – Psalm 28:7 ESV

A handful of many years ago, I snapped a image of a cloud that oddly resembled a giant eye in the sky. When I noticed it, I could not assistance but think God was watching with a very careful and attentive gaze. Now that photo normally cycles itself by means of a display screen of showcased photos on my mobile phone, serving as a reminder God sees me. The times I’m most comforted by this thought are when I’m struggling!

What about you? Is there anything that reminds you of God’s cautious defense and watchful eye more than you? Possibly on a day when you were staying inundated with lies and feared the enemy, you noticed a flock of sparrows reminding you  God sees and cares for your every single want. Or perhaps you were fighting with your pal, and a particular person from church prayed a particular, spirit-led word that spoke to your problem without the need of her knowing the specifics. Or it’s possible on a day when you could not pay for to spend an overdue monthly bill, the Lord furnished the amount you needed via an anonymous donor. 

In the Bible, God refers to Himself as the Fantastic Shepherd, who lays down His everyday living for the sheep. And He claims we are the sheep of His pasture (John 10:11-14). Sheep are relatively defenseless animals. They do not have sharp enamel or claws to ward off predators. They are included in weighty wool that tends to make them inclined to overheating if not groomed on a regular basis and vulnerable to drowning if they fall into deep waters. They are known for having by themselves into precarious conditions. And they want a shepherd’s frequent care and security to keep harmless and alive. 

All the earlier mentioned scenarios are means God lovingly communicates His willingness to secure and help us. He reminds us we can rely on Him to treatment for us, particularly when we are afraid and struggling with question and fear. The Good Shepherd protects His flock, even at the expenditure of His very own lifetime! God sees us. He is our resource of strength and our shield from the enemy’s fiery darts. He longs for us to come to Him when we have to have enable. We can rely on Him, and even when we are fearful, we can sing praises of thanksgiving, realizing our hearts are wholly safe and safe in His tender, robust, shepherding fingers (Psalm 28:7). 

Let us pray:
Dear Lord, 

Thank You for reminding us we are susceptible without the need of you. We experience a lot of dangers, and we are defenseless without the need of You! But Lord, with You, we are secure. You really don’t depart us helpless and defenseless. We are secured. You act as a shield, and You give us strength. You are the Great Shepherd who is aware of His sheep. You treatment for us. You view in excess of us. You by no means go away us and normally have Your loving gaze locked on us. Forgive us when we wrongly think about how you check out above us. Lord, regrettably some of us sense as if You are an unloving force just ready for us to mess up. But Lord, that is not how You look upon us at all. You delight in us. And you despatched Your Son to address up all our sins and blemishes. When we are in Christ, You really don’t see our faults. You see Your spotless lamb. You delight in us like a father delights in His boy or girl. And nothing can different us from Your Appreciate. Thank You for preserving us. Thank You that even nevertheless hazard lurks all around us, we are so safe and sound we can sing! Thank You for staying wholly trustworthy and a protected place to operate when we are concerned. We love You and have confidence in You! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
