“The Lord regretted that He had created human beings on the earth, and His heart was deeply troubled” – Genesis 6:6

As a dad or mum, has your coronary heart ever been deeply troubled? If so, know if anyone understands, God does. He is familiar with the challenges, disappointments, and regrets of parenting. Let’s face it, parenting from the incredibly beginning has been particularly rough and for a lot of heartbreaking as well.

As the ideal Father, God made two perfect individuals, and still they however turned away from Him and willfully sinned. From this slipping absent, all subsequent generations however carry the consequences of their sin. God understands the anguish and heartache of youngsters who transform away from Him. “Hear me, you heavens! Hear, earth! For the Lord has spoken: ‘I reared youngsters and introduced them up, but they have rebelled against Me’” (Isaiah 1:2).

If God the perfect parent experienced young children who willingly and sinfully transform absent from Him, how substantially more can it come about to human mothers and fathers who are working with their individual weaknesses and struggles? Let’s pray:

Expensive Father,
You are the perfect Father, appropriate in all your strategies, and yet your kids strayed from your truth. Unfortunately our little ones, much too, have broken our hearts by the possibilities they have and are making in life. Whilst we tried using to educate them Your term, they have decided on to abide by the entire world more than serving You. We inquire for Your comfort and ease to enable us as a result of the sadness and heartbreak we are dealing with with their possibilities, conclusions, and lifestyles.

Even while we know each individual human being will stand right before You to give an account for their own life (Romans 14:12), we struggle at periods with guilt and condemnation, believing the lies of the enemy by carrying the accountability and fault for our children’s sins. But only You, Lord, have the electrical power to absolutely free them from sin, so we check with You to arrive at out to our small children these days and reveal the fact of Your term to them, to go upon their hearts in techniques we as mothers and fathers are unable to attain or talk to. Like Hebrews 4:12 describes, “For the word of God is alive and lively. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow it judges the ideas and attitudes of the heart.”  

As effectively, we ask You to remind them of the techniques we cherished, cared, and taught them about You, to permit the methods we planted and watered Your truth into their lives to get root and expand. And Lord for the approaches the place we did fall short our small children, we question You to assist us acquire Your forgiveness and comfort and ease, being aware of You are capable to make up for our parenting deficiencies and weaknesses. You realized God when You gave us our children that we would not be perfect mother and father and would need to have to count on You.
