A Prayer for the Moms and dads of Littles

“Behold, little ones are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the young children of one’s youth. How joyful is the male whose quiver is full of them! He will not be set to disgrace when he confronts his accusers at the city gates.” – Psalm 127:3-5, ESV 

It took for a longer time than we expected to develop our family members. In our desperation, we reached out to godly pals and asked if they would pray for us. I still remember the night time a spouse and children buddy prayed Psalm 127:3-5 about me and my partner. And the Lord answered by supplying us three youngsters in the three years that adopted. Suddenly, I was both of those impressed at God’s provision and overwhelmed by these 3 tiny benefits from God! 

If you have small small children, do you locate it simple to relate to the following?

Let us pray:
God, 
We thank you for the reward of little ones. They are a miracle from you, and we acknowledge and praise you for that! Lord, we thank you for entrusting us with the good honor of elevating a new technology of persons who will appreciate and provide you. But Lord, you know how tricky these minor years are. You see us drowning in the to-do list and you know when we feel responsible for not becoming additional thankful for all our many blessings. But you nevertheless really like us, and you like our little ones. 

Thank you for how our really like for these young children presents us a small, though an imperfect, glimpse of your enjoy toward us. And thank you that our disappointment, discontentment, and deficiency of success in parenting drive us again to you–our true supply of joy! Lord, thank you that you use our brokenness and imperfections in parenting for our superior and your glory! You use it all, and we praise you for that. Thank you for both the observed and unseen approaches our youngsters are a blessing and heritage from you! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
